Description for Ford Bronco 1969
Boise Performance Motors is proffering an exceptional restoration of a 302 V-8, U14 Bronco Sport Half Cab. As an original factory red model, we have finished this Bronco in a Viper Red urethane base coat, with accents of silver metallic. The Bronco came with a radio delete option so after installing bucket seats, we added a matching center console and installed a pioneer stereo with speakers.
The floor pans had been replaced in the past and we found 2 small rust areas which we cut out and welded in new sheet metal. The entire floor and bed along with the underside of the tub and wheel wells were then coated with TranStar undercoating. This product is used to effectively protect the truck from the elements, not to disguise damage and/or repairs.
Below is a list of modifications completed:
The power plant is the original 302 and has a Holly Street Dominator aluminum intake manifold with an Edlebrock 600 cfm 4 barrel carburetor.
It has dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers for that deep rumbly sound that all the women like. (My wife made me add that!)
The distributer has been upgraded to an MSD electronic ignition system.
The transmission has been upgraded with a James Duff floor shift conversion.
Power Steering and power front disc brakes have been added to enhance the drivability.
Both the front and rear differentials have been re-built with 411 gears and the transfer case has been upgraded to a Dana 44.
It has a Performance Solutions Drag Link and adjustable Trailing Arms.
The body has a 1" James Duff body lift and a 3 1/2" suspension lift with Duffy heavy duty springs front and rear and Bilstein shocks all around.
It has the correct Bronco Half Cab roll bar from Tom's Bronco Parts.
The Bronco is sporting a set of 5, 16" Moab chrome wheels with 33 X 12.50 Mickey Thompson MXT tires.
We can contract to the buyer to upgrade the transmission to a Special Process 4 speed, or a C-4 automatic transmission for $900 if desired.
This vehicle is also listed for sale locally, so we reserve the right to cancel the auction early.
