Description for Ford Falcon 1963

1963 1/2 Falcon Sprint 2 door Hardtop: I am downsizing and am parting with this nice running & driving Sprint. Nice solid car that spent most of it's life in the Houston, Texas, it's been in New York for about 3 years. Assembled in Lorain, Ohio and delivered to Houston, Texas new. As you can see, it has a few updates including the 1979 Mustang 302 engine, cooling, ignition, exhaust, air shocks, lightly tinted windows,15 inch wheels & recent new brakes. The car maintains it's original 4 speed, new clutch with a Hurst shifter & stock 8 inch rear. The Dual exhaust has a mellow tone. It has a recent New Your State safety inspection. This Sprint should drive comfortably to anywhere you need to go, but I may be able to assist with shipping if you need, I am in upstate New York. If you are a Ford enthusiast, you will notice it has FALCON lettering on the panel below the trunk lid. The Futura, similar to the Sprint, had FORD lettering in this panel. I've pulled the carpet back & it does not look altered. This is not a perfect restored car, but a nice driver worthy of local car shows & a joy to drive. It has tons of power &sounds great & drives well.

Correction: A Falcon expert informed me that the Futura had the letters Futura on the back panel, not Ford. Again, this panel does not look altered or redrilled to accept the Falcon letters & has correct Falcon letters as a Sprint should have.

Again: An expert as advised me that there should be a "factory tachometer" on the dash. Yes, the holes are still in the dash under the padded dash where the OE tachometer was bolted. Yes, bolted. The factory tachometer base had a studwith a nut under the dash. You can buy either reproduction or original tachometers for around$400.
