Description for Ford F-350 1979
This truck began as an F250. I added the divorced NP205 transfer case, the Dana 60 front and Dana 70 Rear axles, and added the F350 Badging. This was an XLT truck, which accounts for the factory cruise, factory air conditioning, and factory CB radio. The color is Pepper gray Metallic, The same color as Eleanor, the GT500 Shelby mustang from "Gone in sixty seconds"

New Ceramic coated headers with all new exhaust. Engine starts immediately every time, runs flawlessly, and very powerful.
Brand new aluminum radiator. Brand new heater core. All new battery cables and starter. Brand new aluminum fuel cell. Brand new fuel filler hose. Electric fuel pump. Holley fuel regulator.
Factory Air conditioning system completely restored, needs charged as I have not insured or driven this truck anywhere. Charging ac systems is one thing I am not set up for at home.
Factory cruise control rebuilt and functions properly. Cruise control horn ring is brand new.
Interior is all new, Every trim piece and air vent on the dash is brand new, brand new factory appearing digital radio, factory Motorola cb radio mounted behind driver seat, fully insulated cab and doors with brand new carpet, recovered and modified bench seat feels like three bucket seats, and has fully cushioned fold down center section arm rest. Extremely comfortable interior, New interior lights, new cargo light and cargo light switch, all wiring restored and all new light bulbs in dash. Extra speaker wires ran under carpet and available for use behind seat. Rare triple mast tear drop shaped radio antenna, necessary due to the factory CB radio, is brand new.
All new glass and seals in this truck. All six pieces of glass, rear window, windshield, vent windows, and roll up windows. All brand new. The quarter vent windows are not easy to rebuild.
This trucks box is rust free. No bondo. The rear wall of the box was replaced, tailgate replaced, all tailgate hardware replaced, tailgate functions excellent. As a side note, you can open the hood on this truck with one finger. All hinges and springs are new.
Bumpers are brand new and custom mounted to be tucked tighter to the body than factory.
The Body on this truck was perfected and painted at the local Ford dealer, and are the only shop in this area equipped and clean enough to be certified to work on the new all aluminum f150's. The truck was rotisserie painted, the underside of the cab and box are just as clean and painted as the outside of the truck. Over $10,000 in paint work. All body panels assembled with new yellow diochromate finished body bolts.
The inside of the bed was left in primer, so the new owner had the option of seeing the straightness and solidness of the floor, and so the new owner can decide if they want a plastic or spray in bed liner.
I have driven this truck less than 50 miles since completion, and I have set the odometer to zero miles for the new owner. I have not entered this truck in any shows or magazines, I've left all of that for the new owner. I do believe this is the closest you could get to owning a brand new 1979 F350. There isn't a single old bolt or screw on this truck. Every piece I purchased for this truck was the best I could find.
