Description for Ford Mustang 1990
For sale is my 1990 LX Notchback 5.0 Car was originally a 4cyl and now has a 1996 Ford Explorer 5.0 in it. Two weeks ago the engine was taken down to the block and machined to a 306. Has forged pistons and ARP hardware. The car was originally from South Carolina (it is rust free, the undercarriage is exceptionally clean) before I bought it a few months ago. Clear title, in my name, in my hand....no games. Car has 120,xxx miles on it (the odometer has rolled over). Unfortunately I have to sell because getting this car to this condition has cost me WAY more than I ever dreamed of and I need to pay off what I put on my credit card to fix it. A notchback is my dream car but this was an expensive project and now I need to recoup some of the money I spent, reality bites. Car runs strong but needs a tune to get the most out of the supercharger. Right now she's running rich for safety so that needs to be worked out by a tuner All gauges work, A/C was just re-done w/new plumbing and is ice cold. The passenger headlight is aimed up a little, the adjustment screws aren't working so you'll have to get a new headlight bracket if you want to bring it down. Heater core and plumbing was just done. I would also encourage an alignment as she pulls slight right. Car has power steering and power windows, both work. interior plastics need some attention, they look their age as well as the back seat, its still the original cloth so it could use either a new seat or just a seat delete. This car was made in 1990, its 27 years old so its not perfect. It has little nicks there on the door edges that need some touch up. The interior panels such as the door sills and plastics could use some attention as they show their age. The following has been done to it since I bought the car last Jul, this is basically the stuff I can remember.
