Description for Ford Mustang 1973

I am selling a one owner 1973 Mach 1 2-door sportsroof, The car was sold new March 8 1973 at MELROSE FORD in Oakland California, It Stayed in California for the majority of its life. It was hauled to Oregon in 2004 and was tucked away in the corner of a garage until this summer. The car has the original engine and drivetrain,which have never been removed, It has had 1 clutch installed in the late 90s. the Carb and fuel system were rebuilt after getting it out of the garage, I installed new tires as the others were old and cracked out. I installed new u-joints due to squeaking originals. Installed new plugs at the same time as carb rebuild. There are a few small dent in the roof as the owners used this for a storage shelf for 20 years. The paint was done in early 80's due to fading per the owner. It was a poor quality repaint in my opinion. ( did not remove trim and panels so rubbers around mirrors and screws were painted). The car is rust free as you would expect from a California car, It has the typical light surface rust on exposed metal under the hood and chassis but is 100% solid inside and out. Again this car is original unrestored so for 44 years old you would expect this!

I picked the car up from the original owner and it still has the original plates that were issued to it in 1973. I have the original Title dated 4/20/1973 in the original envelope as it was sent to the owner in 1973. It comes with the factory ford service manuals, and it still has the original spare still in the trunk. This car is about as stock as you can find on a driver car. The A/C is still all there. and the wheels are the originals installed from the factory. The car runs and drives great.
