Description for Ford Model T 1915
Up for auction is a time-capsule of a mostly unaltered 1915 Model T Touring car. This car features:1. All matching stock mechanical components: engine, transmission, radiator (rough), Clamshell rear end & stock Ford ignition system. 2. Original hand-tacked upholstery & seat cushions.3. Original rubber floor-mat, and wooden-spoked wheels that feel firm and solid.4. Original glass in windshield (1 cracked pane) 5. Original sheet-metal Ford body panels & fenders.6. Original 1915 top irons but the old top wore away and was replaced with a homemade canvas one.7. Good tight compression, and turns over & starts with the help of a 6v battery.8. Runs well on Magneto.9. Transmission bands looks good inside. I have only run it in my garage and never driven it down the street.10. 2nd to final year of the Brass Era of cars, and comes with matching front & back old 1915 license plates.
I am out of time, money and space for it. Clear title in my name. Here's your chance to own a piece of 103 year old history. Good tires that hold air, although unmatched, rebuilt spark coils, rebuilt carburetor, new radiator hoses & clamps, new spark plug wires but that's about it. Everything else is 1915 original down to the brass and upholstery. This a part of the classic brass age of American motoring. The two side-spotlights in the first pics have been removed and are gone now, but everything else is as you see it.
The car is ready to drive if your cranking arm is ready, but it could stand some tightening up around the manifold area & it takes effort to start so I recommend a winch to pull it onto a truck. This is a great project for someone to drive while you work on it. Doesn't even drip very much like many T's do. If you have any questions, please ask. I have two videos on YouTube of the car running and idling. Text questions to 630-935-8561 or email anteekguy97@aol.com. I accept cash, checks with clearance time, and bank-to-bank wires for payment. $500 PayPal deposit within 24 hours and one week for balance. If you have questions, please ask before bidding, I try to be as thorough as possible but opinions can vary on condition, so please ask. Videos below.

Question answered: under the front and back seat both metal hinged pans are still intact and the car has the original round gas tank as well. Will try to post more pics.
