1913 FORD MODEL T SPEEDSTERspeedster is a built car completed in 1996 using all old car parts.speedster is titled as a 1926 FORD touring has a 1926 chassis and running gearwith a clear PENNSYLVANIA title.Many 1913 parts were used for the build like the brass radiator all the lights thefenders steering column and rear deck are 1913.much brass was used like the radiator windshield frame lots of trim piecesmuch of the brass is hand made.Cowl is made of 3/4 inch cherry boards seat is american la france fire truck upholsteryis 1913 ford roadster gas tank is dodge with ford script on endsChassis is 1926 ford with a Z section at the rear for lowering front end is model a ford dropped axelthis was done for a stronger front end.Engine is 1926 FORD with a model A crankshaft and rods with over bore of .030 this gives a stroker engine of about 190 cubic inches. camshaft is a B grind along with improved oiling in engine.Engine runs a FRONTENAC over head 8 valve head with a down draft carburator and header exhaustwith 2 inch pipe running out the back of car. distributer is a volkswagon conversion and a water pumpWarford 3 speed overdrive transmission Ruckstell 2 speed rear converted to ball bearings withrocky mountian brakes 1926 1927 wire wheels with simulated knock off capsThe only reproduction parts used on car are the step plates motor meter mirror and the emblems on the hubcaps top hood was made in a sheet metal shop NO FIBERGLASS USED IN BUILD has the 22 years of chips scrapes and blemishes of a driver..the speedster has always been a driver for the last 22 years never trailered to a car show Reason for selling AGE have had model t FORDS since 1962I would be happy to answer any questions you might have. car is located in Rising Sun Marylandabout 10 miles from I-95 and 2 miles from Md. route 1 best to come and look before you buythank you for your interest shipping to be handled by the buyer.
