Description for Ford Fairlane 1967
This is a great driving 390 big block convertible. The paint is old and faded, the hood was added and is in white primer. The car drives great and I have driven it over 100 miles each way with no issues at all. The car will need work as you can see, but is a original 390 car. I purchased this from a long time retired ford mechanic and he was slowly fixing it up. As you can see in pictures the car is solid for a 51 year old car but shows some rust areas that I point out. I feel this is a easy fix or drive as is as I have and enjoyed. I get more thumbs up in this car then I do my Hellcat. The rims I was told are original Touque thrust wheels from the late 60's or early 70's..I purchased center caps for them 3 weeks ago from a seller here on ebay and still have not gotten them, when or if I do they will go with the car.Things I know it will need, trans pans leaks a little in the garage, runs and shifts perfectly... The exhaust and brakes are fairly new I was told, the interior I would either paint the white portions red or leave as is. Has a dash pad on the dash, original steering wheel has no cracks, the bumpers are 2 years old and are very nice, the door strikers need the replacement kit a common problem with these fords.. Trunk is solid, car comes with the factory white steel wheels.. Car has a electric fan that works but also has regular fan? Steering has typical play in it for a older car.. Brakes stop straight.. Needs window felts around windows, I might have them I have not looked through all parts in the trunk.. The car will sell..
Good luck.. My auctions tend to end early due to pricing..
