Description for Ford F-100 1974
This is a 1974 F-100 Body, rear tank. This Cab, Bed, and front clip is a direct bolt on replacement for a 1973 through 1979 F-100 and F-250 4x2, and F-100 4x4, and 1976-1979 F-150 4x2, and 4x4. It is also will fit a 1977.5 through 1979 F-250 and F-350 4x4. There is no rust on the truck, there was a small piece but it was cut out and removed. I will post pictures of that. Was a straight truck going into this, it came out a straight truck. This is an extremely beautiful piece of work, the price I am asking does not cover what I have in it; but I have all new rubber, all new interior, all new exterior trim the grill is not new everything is Dennis Carpenter so it is a factory direct replacement. Needs front and rear glass. I have a good Auto column to go with it. Seat was recover in exact factory material. I have a new head liner. There is no running gear, engine trans, or frame. This is just freshly painted body parts and interior. Original colors in base clear... It will make someone a beautiful truck when it is finished. Long story made short, here is the abridged version of my story. I bought this truck for the body parts as a donor to my 4x4 project. I was it's second owner; thinking it would be easy enough to get such a fine truck with one little rust whole fixed, and have it painted. 3 years after disassembly, 2 body shops, and $25,000 thousand dollars later I hope to find it a home. I did not give up on my project, just found a suitable replacement donor. This sounds like a lot of money, but I bought $3300 in paint and supplies, $4,000 in new trim and rubber. This could save someone a lot of trouble, money, and the fight to get it through a shop, and the year or more to wait on it. I have plenty of pictures ask questions!
