Description for Ford Other 1936
Up for auction is this 1936 Ford 2 door sedan. The previous owner took this car apart sometime in the seventy's and was going to restore it. Had some of the bodywork done at a local body shop, and the body and rear fenders have been done and primed, but will probably need sanded down and done again, I'm sure it was all lacquer primer. He had the bumpers sent in and rechromed, has new chrome grille. he has bought alot of parts for car back in the 70-80's. The motor he had overhauled, but never run, so would need taken apart and inspected, transmission looks to be ok and shifts ok. Garnish moldings are all with the car. He has boxes and boxes of parts, alot new and alot original to car. From what I went through, looks to be mostly there. I'm sure there will be some stuff missing. The gauges are in one of the boxes and look good. The seats we could not find, even though he had bought new mohair upholstery for everything. The running boards he had done with new rubber on them. The hood has some damage to it, but repairable, and have the 6 stainless moldings. Front fenders haven't had any work done on them either. This car has been stored inside since at least the 70's that I know for sure, and probably all its life, which is why it is in so clean rust free shape. Would be a nice one to restore, but would be a nice solid start for a street rod. The fenders and hood are just setting on it and will come off to move. I think the car was originally black. If you're looking for a solid clean car this one is the one. You can call me with any questions at 308-760-5027. $300 deposit in pay-pal at auction end, and the rest in cash when picked up. I can help with loading. It does steer and rolls. There is alot of parts so would be best picked up instead of transport. Probably could put all parts in car, but not all the glass is in the car, so could get wet or blow out. I have car listed locally so auction could end early. It can stay here for a little while if need be, as long as you make arrangements with me.
