1968 Ford Mustang Fastback Bullitt tribute. This 68 Mustang fastback is a factory "C" code 2v 289 with a factory 3 speed manual transmission. It is an early production 68. as you will notice the early style rectangular rear side marker lenses. It now has a roller rockin 302 with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and a Holley 650 Street Avenger carburetor. The transmission is a Tremec 5 speed. The car has a Heidts Mustang II disc brake front suspension. with rack and pinion manual steering. The mileage listed is the miles since restoration. that are clocked on the new Dakota Digital gauges. As you can see in the pics. there has been a lot done to make it as true to the original movie car as possible. There is an original 67 Shelby leather wrapped steering wheel that will be included in the auction. that I recently acquired and have not installed yet. I have spent a lot of hours in research creating a correct "Bullitt" that Steve McQueen would be proud to own and drive.
