Description for Ford Mustang 1970
There has been rumors that Ford built a few 1970BOSS 351's built when there were discussions of engine displacement increases for the trans am racing program. This is a tribute to what may have or not been. This car was built on a rotisserie which makes a quality build much easier. This car did not require any repair or replacement to the front or rear frame rails or torque boxes. It does have new floor pans, trunk pans, quarters, doors, fenders, hood, trunk lid, and front and rear valences. It has the competition suspension with heavy duty sway bar, shock tower reinforcement, staggered rear shocks and subframe connectors. The engine is the original 351C rebuilt with new pistons, big thumper cam, double row timing gears and chain, high volume oil pump, Edelbrock intake and Holley carb under the functional shaker scoop. The transmission is a five speed OD from a 95 Mustang. The rear is the original 9" upgraded to 389 gears posi. It has power steering, power brakes with discs in the front, full length exhaust with flowmasters. The interior is all new from carpet to the headliner. It has the fold down rear seat, trap door with 6 x 9 speakers, console, tilt wheel, AMFM stereo and CD player. On the outside, new front and rear spoilers, rear window louvers, bumpers, taillights, door handles and it all rides on BF Goodrich tires mounted on Magnum 500 wheels. It is currently registered and insured and will beno problem to transfer ownership. I've been driving this car for about 3 years now ( Summers only) fun to drive and gets attention wherever it goes.
