Folks its time to say goodbye to an old friend. I have spent hundreds of hours on youtube vlogging this very car build from start to my finish. Its time for someone else to take the car to another level and finish some of the odds and ends to fit their needs. I have way too much to list here about the car. If you had any questions about the engine, trans, turbo build or tuning the proof is in the videos. the whole build including hours at the tuning dyno shop. You can copy and paste the link above and check it out on my channel. This is a real auction and everything on that playlist is about this vehicle. Nothing else. Lets get started. There Is a reserve folks. 10 second street car/10 grand!?
Selling my 1988 ford mustang GT. Clean title and car. Not typical rust at all. Very nice car to use as a donor when I started. It has a modified On3 turbo system installed. When I say "modified" I mean I made the system better and last longer than it normall would. I bought the car with intentions of just reselling it but decided to make a whole build on the car. Its a 10 second turn key street car. It made 460/500 wheel power ON A MUSTANG DYNO. This was with merely a StOCK MOTOR! videos dont lie folks its all there in the playlist. I have ran 10.90s @ 125/126MPH with full weight and interior. Its a simple build tuned right. Made 14 pounds of boost on kill. Makes 10 pounds on street tune. Has brand new SVE deep dish style ANNI wheels. THe car was freshly painted prior to me buying it. The reason it was painted as due to quarter panel damage on the drivers side. Yes the car was hit pretty good and repaired. However it straight and true as I have been 100+ mph at the track many times with it already. I have completely rebuilt the engine, trans AND rear axle MYSELF. All in the videos.
GOODS: THe car is a stick shift dream to drive on street. brand new rebuilt engine (proof is in the video). Rebuilt T5 trans that has seen 30+ passes at 11.teens and 10.9s at the track. No idea how its strong but I did sorta baby it a little! Doesn't have any issue shifting. Engine runs like a clock. 60lbs pressure at start up. Tune is on point with 16 degrees total timing. Over $1000 in tuning alone. The turbo kit was used but I have modified it to make 14 pounds of boost. You can turn it up and down via a manual boost controller. I also made the exhaust one 3" pipe with muffler. However it has a cutout section in it for the track if you want to let it flow! No rotted floors or towers. Lots of good parts put together to make a killer street car. You blow the motor? Guess what its stock so just clean up another and put it in. Tune will work just fine! Has a fiberglass hatch on it. Theres no harness in it but its light and works. Doesn't have shocks on it either Just the way It came with I received it. The car was wired for the big pump in the tank. As explained in my videos. So it isn't running out of fuel. Has 42# ford injectors with the turbo kit. Basically a stock motor with a turbo and bigger injectors and pump! And one heck of a tune! The videos say it all!
BADS: The car needs a headliner. I have material in the back along with the ABS board. Carpet is ok condition however id probably put a new one in. Doesn't smell im just a perfectionist. Like the seats too. Id also move the MSD box to the fender apron somewhere.. I dont like it where its at. The floor pan on the driver side seat had to be reinforced. Not due to the rust. Its just a bracket due to the accident. The Quarter panel on drivers side was repaired along with frame however they did a great job hiding it. Paint looks very good. NOt sloppy imo. Car sits a little higher in pass side than drivers side due to airbag (for the track) and the spring. So id cut 1/2 a coil out of that side and drive it. It drives just fine. Im just a perfectionist. Id change the lights out for something aftermarket tinted. Those were painted. I also have a cowl hood that will go with the car maybe if someone wanted to paint the color and just use that. Please use hood pins!
