1948 Ford F-1 First year of the F series pickups.Original except for the Flatbed, running lights, and grill guard and visor.One original window pass side rolldown.First ford to get the flathea, 24 head-bolt 100HP V8.Motor was over hauled in the 1990s, the motor purrs like a kitten.no major oil leaks, rear main drips once every hundred miles.doesn't burn any.No synchros, got to double clutch this puppy. Truck is a 4speed low geared rear-end.Front end is a little loose. Good floor boarders excellent doors and windows mechanisms.Heads liner is gone. seat was recovered around 1986. Has am stereo. The truck could use a brake job have to add fluid every couple of months to it. You can drive this truck across country today BUT the truck doesn't like air temps over 90 degrees.
