This is a 1964 Galaxie 500 XL Z Code with a 390 ci engine and a rare 4 speed manual transmission. The shifter is a HURST. The original is included in the trunk. The 4 bbl carburetor is a Holley. The original is also included in the trunk. An extra pair of new mufflers are also included in the trunk. However the existing ones do not require replacement. This car is an original unmolested 1964 Galaxie in its original Guardsman Blue metallic paint. The car presents itself extremely well. It is numbers and data plate matching. Believed to be less than <68000 miles. All stainless/chrome trim are in near perfect condition. The car is completely solid with zero rust. The undercarriage and interior are also entirely original and exhibit only minimum wear and tear. The 390 CI 4 barrel Holley carburetor starts easily with no smoke or unusual sounds and it quickly settles into a smooth idle. It accelerates aggressively and the 4 speed manual console Hurst shifter moves smoothly through the gears. All doors trunk and hood close extremely easily.
