Description for GMC Sierra 1500 1986
This truck has been two-family owned since new. This vehicle is totally stock, hasn't been lifted, hasn't been off-roaded, has not been abused. I have the original invoice that shows the options and the payment plan. This was when new vehicles were financed for 36 months. The truck has spent it's entire life in East Tennessee / Western North Carolina. The AC has been switched over and works great. Many new parts that I have all the receipts for. I challenge you to find any nicer for the price. Even the clock still works.Feel free to email me at joefender.nc@gmail.com for more info and picturesIn the interest of full disclosure as is common with these vehicles the dash pad has several cracks. Other than that the interior is perfect with all gauges working, power windows and power door locks work as should.
Bonus: There is a bracket and wiring for a CB Radio. I have the CB radio, I haven't hooked it up to see if it works. If I get time today I will check it out. All of the factory jack componentsare there. The spare tire is new!
Truck does not rattle or squeak. Sliding window in the cab as well as the camper cover.
I know there is a lot that I am forgetting to mention, I will gladly answer any questions and invite inspection before buying the truck. The bed of the truck has NO dents.
This truck was bought new by an elderly gentleman in East Tennesse. About 17 years ago he gave it to his son who I work with. His son kept it for 9 years putting 9000 miles on it. I bought the truck 7 years ago to give to my elderly father. He put another 15,000 miles on the truck in the 7 years he had it. My father is 90 years old and quit driving a few months ago at which time he gave the truck back to me. I try to drive the truck once a week usually 50-75 miles. This is the complete history of the truck from new.
