For sale today I have a 1978 GMC Sierra classic 1/2 ton diesel pick up truck. One owner truck with only 53,000 miles on it. I inherited it from my grandfather five years ago and it's time to hand it over to someone who can maintain it and really appreciate it. I'm not mechanic by any means but what I do know is that there were two new batteries put in it a few years back and the passenger window needs a new motor because it won't go up or down. We did notice recently that it is leaking diesel fuel underneath from somewhere, don't know exactly where from though. Other than those issues the truck is in really good shape for its age. My grandpa always took care of it and had it garage kept until I inherited it. I've done my best to describe the truck, if I missed anything or if you have any questions feel free to ask. Asking price is based upon its condition and the fact that these trucks are becoming hard to find unless you look in the junkyard. Buyer is responsible for transporting the truck out of my driveway and shipping to its destination.
