Description for GMC Sierra 1500 1991
Up for your consideration is a very clean and well kept 1991 Gmc Sierra 1500 with the 6.2 diesel engine. It has the automatic transmission and manual transfer case (4x4). Sitting on almost new tires, newer rear shocks, and 2 brand new Delco batteries. This vehicle sports its original paint and interior and has been garage kept its whole life and it shows!!! Non smokers truck!!! no damage and no coverups, this is the real deal, a very well maintained truck that was sold and ordered in Canada with some special options not available in the United States. It runs and drives and performs flawlessly!!!The back seat is lined from side to side with documentation. The truck includes the owners manual and some receipts. I have clean and clear title and bill of sale to convey in hand. The truck was sold at a Mecum auction not too long ago and ended up here in WV. The elderly owner bought several cars that day and is selling off a few of them. You can throw the book away!!! its so nice, unmolested with original paint,, you will have a hard time finding another to compare it to. The diesel runs great and this one does great on fuel too. The 6.2 Detroit Diesel was built to be economic and still have towing power. sort of like the eco diesels of today. I personally have put over 75k miles on a 6.2 in a chevy van that I used for delivering car parts, it always served me well and had 130k on it when I got it!!!!! lots of people bash the 6.2 but many that bash compare it to the old gas converted 5.7 and don't know the difference,, or they compare it to the problem child 6.5 with its troubled fuel injection,,, the 6.2 has the older type pump and can be worked on by any diesel mechanic.. this truck just had over 800 dollars spent on fuel lines going to and from the engine under routine maintenance. 6.2 are pretty easy on fuel, and are very smooth. You wont find a nicer diesel half ton for the money anywhere!!!! I don't think.
This fine truck is garaged, and locked and if you are the winner, there will be no rush to have it moved,, take your time and find economical transportation or fly in and drive it home, wherever that may be.
There is nothing I can tell you that is wrong with this truck, it runs, drives, stops and does all this very well, it has a current safety inspection sticker for Wv

I had washed the truck today for the pictures and it started raining lightly,, so I did not get it dried off. I want to tell everyone that the paint on the truck on a scale of 1-10 is a 9!!!! its bright and shiny and no clearcoat is peeling anywhere!!! the truck is knock dead beautiful!!! some scarring of paint on inside of bed where it had a topper or toolbox on it and a bed liner in it,,, its almost perfect,,, It drive and handles like a new truck! Someone has taken very good care of this truck and maintained it like it was new. When they replaced the rear shocks they even got them from ac delco!
On Jan-03-20 at 05:46:44 PST, seller added the following information:- on the 2nd of January 2020 I had oil and filter changed
- all fluids checked
- drove the truck about 50 miles afterwards
- fresh wash and vac and tucked away in the garage for its new owner
- I feel the rear bumper is a factory option, it uses the same upper pad as the factory bumper but if you wanted to put a normal bumper on the rear, I found one on ebay for 179 dollars, and would purchased and install for free if you wanted it,,, there is nothing wrong with the bumper on the truck I just wanted to offer this. The new bumper comes will all new bracketry and hardware and pads (10 yr warranty)
- The wheels are also very nice,, you can tell this truck has been kept out of the salt since it is so nice!
