1958 GMC "TIME CAPSULE" very original UNMOLESTED Okla.farm truck!!

Up for your bidding pleasure is one of the most original-solid pick ups I've ever owned. To start. this truck was on a ranch/farm in Oklahoma all of its life. always in service by a farmer and his dog. See photo of seat on passenger side only small wear spot on the 57 year old factory seat cover. And no arm wear on passenger door like on driver door!! Looks like the last two owners were starting a restoration. not sure how far they planned on going. But I'm glad they did not do much to the body on the whole truck. They also sprayed canned primer on left front fender top. I removed primer so the bidders can see just how solid this truck is. over headlights this is original G. M. steel. the only bondo they used is on left rear fender (see photo) can easily be pounded out. Only rust to speak of is in very bottom cab corner. and lower front fenders. Brakes are good-no leaks. tires very old but hold air (co-op farm brand). not road worthy. There are some extra parts (gaskets) which look to be from a motor rebuild kit. I put in a battery and motor turned over with ignition key. but needs to have radiator hooked up. probably rebuild the carburetor. Plug wires numbered 1 thru 6 from front to back and that is not the firing order for the 270 ci 6 cyl GMC motor. so may need to have timing set and firing order done?? Tailgate bent to hell but usable. bed is good. check out the vintage art deco door mirror. It's hard for me to leave this one alone!! Some people love that untouched look. I would love to clear coat it. new tires. battery. time it. seat cover. then drive it. I'm listing it as I got it minus me reinstalling some of the parts that were removed for the restoration process. such as radiator. air cleaner. emblems. front bumper. grill. core support. I removed seat to show how solid the floor and truck over all really is. I reinstalled these parts for ease of shippong and to show how complete and original this truck is. Original to the pickup: foot pedals. headliner. all the glass is L. O. F. . steering wheel. seat. door panels. exterior and interior paint never repainted. courtesy light lens. still has original glovebox liner. Original "factory" key opens and locks door. glovebox and and ignition. Remember this stuff is all ORIGINAL and 57 YEARS OLD!!! I love this original battle ship grey type color inside and out!!!! Remember this is a never repainted truck.
