1985 Honda CRX Straman Convertible

This is an 85 R Straman company Honda CRX convertible. a coach builder still in business today in Costa Mesa California. 320 of these were built and they never come up for sale that I am aware of. This car is a project. in that it needs the front plastic nose piece. exhaust leak repaired and top is there and functions but needs the cloth and back window plastic replaced to be perfect. nbsp; I drive the car daily. nbsp; starts easily. drives reliably. I would take in on a trip. My local muffler shop will install a new exhaust system for $275 but I have not done it thinking the new owner might want to skip it . install a v tec engine. etc. The car has no damage. the front plastic was just sat on and broken. as is common. Shocks are new as are tires. brakes excellent. car is fast. shift perfectly and steers fine. all the lights work. as does the Alpine CD player. Clear Oregon Title in my name. Super Rare car . gets tons of attention wherever I go here in Portland Oregon. The little trunk works nicely and was custom done at Straman. There is a good tuneau cover that covers the top when downOn Mar-29-15 at 08:26:42 PDT. seller added the following information:I added soom pics of the underside of the car in response to an inquiry about rust. nbsp; The car has very little if any rust. There is a small spot on one of the frame rails underneath where the undercoating is off and it has superficial rust. all the metal is very solid. nbsp;
