1977 IH Scout II.

Vehicle is in great condition and is a real head turner on the road. It has the hard to find 345 8 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission. It is lifted with modern wheels and tires (15" wheels and 33" BFG mud terrains).Originally an Arizona vehicle and moved north by the previous owner.

As long as I have owned this Scout, t has never:

Spent a night outside

Been used for mudding or off-roading

Been kept outside of a garage, ot even a single night

Driven in the winter/snow/salt

Had the top off in bad weather

Used ethanol, r anything less than premium fuel

The Goods:

Hard to find original 345 8 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission

They is no body filler or bondo

Brand new exhaust in the Fall of 2011 (the sound of this truck might be my favorite feature)

Custom, eavy-duty drive shafts (Fall of 2011)

Paint is very good condition

Bottom of vehicle, elow trim, s painted with a chip resistant paint

Body is super square and straight

Runs down the road great (great oil pressure and temp)

Steering stabilizer

Removable top

The underbody has been coated to protect against rust

New Battery (Spring 2015)

Book of receipts for work done on vehicle dating back to approximately 2007

The could-be-betters:

Chrome on grill needs some love

It is a cold starter if it sits for awhile

Small electrical issues (gas gauge only goes to ½ full and front signals do not work correctly)

No radio
