Description for International Harvester R110 1954
***1954 INTERNATIONAL R-110 OLD FARM PICKUP RUNS DRIVES GREAT SURVIVOR*** This is a 1954 International pickup truck R-110 model with 6-cyclinder engine and three speed on the column shift. The owner is a friend who asked me to list - he doesn't have a computer. This is an old farm truck that was stored inside most of its life. The owner has done some work to the truck and it drives great. He has plenty of vehicles and has decided to sell the truck. The clutch was completely rebuilt - clutch disc, ressure plate, lywheel surfaced, ew release bearing and new pilot bearing. The brakes were also completely rebuilt - new wheel and master cylinders, ew shoes, ew hardware and the three flexible lines were replaced. The engine runs great - the owner sent the vacuum advance off to a shop in Texas to be rebuilt. The engine starts right up and runs like a sewing machine. Transmission shifts smoothly. Truck runs and drives well. Everything works properly except the horn and gas gauge. The previous owner had the truck painted years ago. It has some blemishes in the paint and a couple of rust spots that are in the photos below. The interior is in real nice shape. The seat was covered. This truck is a great driver that you can enjoy as is or take to a higher level. Email any questions and you may ask for the owner's phone number if you'd like to set up a time to see and test drive the International. This truck was used on a farm in the eastern part of the state for years. It was stored inside. Tailgate and bed are in decent condition for an old truck The wheels have International hub caps with trim rings Tires are 6-ply and 16-inches in diameter IH for International Harvester It has a hitch and the spare is under the bed Interior looks sharp Note the sturdy seat frame Seat was recovered Dash is curved Add on turn signals - they were not required in Virginia until 1955 International button in steering wheel Clear gauges International script on ash tray Glove box and heater Single visor Twin back glasses - I believe that is the original paint and the dash has the original paint Passenger door panel Driver door panel The engine is an inline 6.
