here's a pretty decent mainly original 1974 International Harvester Scout II being offered as a project rolling body. Prior owner removed 345 V-8 and 4 speed manual transmission along with 4 wheel drive mechanism. So its nearly complete less the drivetrain. Put your drivetrain in this Scout and get on the road.
Strong points-Has rust but NOT a RUST BUCKET like most unrestored Scouts. Interior is nearly all original and in very good condition. Seat cloth is dry and has a split on driver side, small hole other side.Factory Air conditioning car, nice tinted glass, 2 cracks in windshield. All doors open close as well as tailgate.Dash all original, gauges all nice, nice sun visors and headliner, side panels nice.Mainly original green exterior paint. Comes with original paint hood, will be mounted before shipping. Looks like all original suspension, has both front and rear Danas. Front disc brakesNo frame rail rust, most of floors look very good from underneath. Being offered at reasonable price.
Weak points-All rubber, weatherstripping need replacement.We don't have a title, Buyer will be provided with Bill of Sale.Scout needs various rust repairs. Most of rust repair needed is patching. Passenger quarter has had work, needs work. Fenders look very good. looks like passenger rocker was replaced and is solid. driver rocker and rear area rusty, auction includes rust free rocker patch (see pics). has rust on outer edges of the rear floor.
We have several parts for this car not included in pics: Nice hood, rear seat armrests, headlight rings, ashtray, various small parts.
