Description for Jeep CJ 1984

1984 Jeep CJ7. 8000 obo
Too many kids, not enough seats.
Road and trail ready. Passed emissions this week and re-upped the registration. All parts are DOT compliant. Has catalytic converter in brand new exhaust. I drive it around town every day including interstate and highway. Current emissions inspection, registration, and title in hand.
1990 Chevy 5.7L 350 TBI throttle body fuel injection (EFI) - less than 200 miles on rebuild. It's set up with a check engine light, OBD diagnostics port under the dash, and comes with winALDL and a serial port laptop for tuning.
700r4 with valve body upgrade - less than 200 on rebuild (fluid still red, not ready to change)
D300 with advance adapters 700r4 adapter
Rear axle is GM corporate 14 bolt (14b) with 13" brakes and Eaton locker (79 Chevy ton 4.10)
Front axle is large tube D44 with Eaton locker and linked high steer setup (full hydro isn't DOT approved) (79 Chevy ton 4.10) 12 inch disc brakes
Brake master cylinder is 1 1/8 large bore corvette cylinder with 9" vacuum booster.
Front springs outboarded, spring over axle suspension front and rear. Pretty soft actually, but the unsprung weight is noticeable on the highway. Sams HD anti wrap bar. Rancho shocks and steering stabilizer. Flexes out in the several feet range. Has front sway bar with quick disconnects. If you want it to handle better, I can include a track bar setup and steering box brace.
Wheels are double bead lock hummer takeoffs. I actually have a 5th wheel and tire to go with for some reason.
Tires are military goodyear wrangler 36. They're pretty beat. I'd strongly recommend something lighter and better on traction. The lockers make up for it, but the tires stink.
Body is good to go for a town and trail rig, but a show truck it ain't. Floorboards and all have been replaced, but it's an old jeep. If you want a perfect body, wrangler tub swap it or get a fiberglass one. Frame is obviously solid or I wouldn't have built it out. Paint is actually much better than it looks. I've never done more than hose it off. It's pretty dirty.
Everything works - speedo, fuel gauge, volt meter, etc. Fuel tank, fuel gauge, sending unit, and fuel pump are all new. I was having trouble with the fuel filter loading up, fuel gauge not reading, etc., so I just replaced everything.
Blazer heater motor upgrade last year.
Full besttop supertop and 2 panel cj7 doors, all good to go; no holes. The back glass is there and clear and good to go; I just didn't get a picture of it. Also, grey and black bikini tops. Also comes with a full cover less than a year old.
Comes with spares, set of autometer gauges (not sure why since I just made the factory gauges work) and other stuff that I'll add as it comes to mind.
