This Land Rover is not in anyway sold as a original Camel Trophy Vehicle. It is an accurate fully functional tribute vehicle we build this base upon pictures and input from land rover experts. For Sale is an amazing Land Rover Camel Trophy Truck. This Land Rover just won 1st place ( Late 80 class ) in the 22nd annual British Antique car show in Boca Raton. Florida. Plaque and certificate is included in sale. If you look at the pictures you will find a picture of the land rover at the show and a picture of the plaque and certificate. The base was a very nice land rover series 3 that I imported from England. After it arrived we wanted to do something a little different than our other restorations. As you can see we decided to go with the Classic Camel Trophy look. We spend hours researching and reading to get the most accurate representation and then put it into reality and I believe the pictures speak for themselves. There are 7 in total counting the spares. We left them because they are mostly Avon tires and impossible to find stateside. They are the true tires for the vehicle and the tribute we were going for. Unfortunately they have quite a bit of dry rot from the sheer age of the tires. All hold air and because they are steel belted and 7 ply i drove with them daily with no hesitation. The other point is the exhaust down pipe needs to be tighten up on the exhaust header flange. Any muffler shop will do this in minutes. I will try to get this taken care of before auction end but no guarantees . I am so swamped at work I have almost no time. My land rover is currently tagged titled and insured in Florida. The title is clean and in my name. Yes. this land rover has been in the USA for over a year now. No import hassles : ) !!! Viewings can be arranged by appointment during the auction. It is in great condition. This is a 30 year old vehicle with original rubber seals and window slide inserts. You will find the normal wear and tear some scrapes from offroading but the pictures are high resolution and if you blow them up you will see. This is not a nut and bolt restoration. As stated above viewings are encouraged and i will make time for anyone to come look at the vehicle if they want to inspect it before bidding
