Up for sale I have my 1978 Lincoln Continental Town Car. Before I continue. I will say that this IS NOT a show car. If you are looking for a car in that condition. there is no need to continue reading or perusing this auction. The water under the car in the last photo is run-off from a car wash!***I feel my asking price is fair and am open to offers. but please don't bother low-balling me. I know the car's worth and I'm not going to give it away*** But all offers are considered. That being said. this car is in very good condition for its age. There are minor defects on the body such as scratches. small dings here and there and previous repairs consistent with the car's age. I will say that these defects are not very noticeable unless you're actually looking for them and when this car is washed and clean. it presents VERY WELL and still turns heads (Who doesn't think a classic Lincoln is cool anyways?!). The vinyl top is complete and nothing is missing but it is weathered (It is by no means unpresentable or an eyesore)The interior is mint except for the driver's seat which does have some wear damage but nothing excessive. Everything else is perfect. I've gone over every electrical component on the car and everything works (Rear defroster. power seats. power locks. power windows. headlights. etc. )It has been parked for a couple months now. in a garage (Buffalo winter!). and no visible leaks underneath the car. The car runs absolutely perfect. It starts right up with one pump. idles perfect. idles down after about 30 seconds. It drives down the road great but could use an alignment (not a big deal and all steering components are tight). Plenty of power and stops on a dime (newer hydroboost unit as well. )The condition of individual components are as follows:Vinyl Top: 6/10Exterior: 6/10Interior: 8/10Undercarriage: 6/10Tires: 8/10Engine Compartment: 6/10The pictures I have are few as these were the ones I used when applying for insurance and I haven't pulled the car out (has been cold and we just endured an enormous snow storm recently). I will provide ANY pictures you would require of the car. I have nothing to hide and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
