Description for Lincoln Continental 1968
1968 Lincoln Continental with suicide rear doors. It has had a high quality paint job and body work in 2011. Rusted areas forward of both rear wheels were cut out and professionally repaired. It is always garaged and covered. It comes with a very high quality custom fitted car cover. It was a California car until I moved to New Jersey in 2011 but it never left my garage in anything less than the best weather conditions. This car was featured in Nelly's "ErrTime" video. I purchased it from a set designer in Los Angeles and he used it in the video which can be viewed from the link below. It looked great in the video but it was far from great. It needed lots of love and attention. http://youtu. be/vWqzVyMUepoIt runs and drives great. Both the engine and transmission have been rebuilt. This car is in great condition. it needs the door panels redone and the windows fixed. The 2 driver side windows work but the passenger side do not. The seats. carpet. dash and headliner are all in great condition. All the stainless trim is straight under side of the car that is rust free. It also comes with a "drive it like you stole it" screwdriver key (which doubles as an excellent prison shiv). It is a key with a screwdriver handle. It also comes with the standard ignition/door keys. This car is the perfect start to a finished project. I really don't want to sell it but I just bought a house and we just had a baby so my priorities have changed (AKA my wife is making me sell it). I love this car and I need hope it is goes to a good home. Please ask if you have any questions. I want you to be fully aware and confident in what you are buying. You will be responsible for shipping. although I will help co-ordinate with your shipper if needed. A deposit of $2. 00 will be required within 48 hours of the end of the auction. The rest must be paid before taking possession of the vehicle. The full transaction should not take more then 2 weeks otherwise you forfeit the deposit unless I agree to extend the deadline. Thank you for understanding.
