The finish of this Silver Grey metallic Benz defies its age and would be comfortable as a regular driver, eekend parade car, r show participant. Purchased with only 600 miles in Köln, ermany then made its way to Texas 4 months later!

SEL 4.5s were the top of the line model of the Mercedes-Benz line-up for 1972. Ironically this is one of the few times the U.S. Mercedes gets the larger 4.5 liter displacement than its 3.5 liter cousin in Germany.

Finished in a beautiful deep "Silbergrau" metallic (code DB-180), he paint job shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Front and rear bumpers have an excellent fit and finish that show well. All trim pieces are present and have a brilliant finish. The weather-stripping surround the doors and glass are in very good condition with no signs of drying, earing or shrinkage. The U.S. spec Headlights and taillights are in very condition with no hazing or cracks. Factory sunroof has an excellent fit and finish. Paint and body are exceptional with no visible evidence of repair or damage that we could find.

Inside, he deep red leather (code 243) seats all look great showing almost no wear. Excellent matching carpet throughout the interior. Overall the genuine wood interior looks great, owever there is some slight weathering on the drivers side dash top. The door panels and dashboard also present well, testament to the superb level of care this car has received over the years. The headliner mirrors the rest of the cabin and completes the theme. The original equipment steering wheel is in great condition, nterior also features power windows, ower locks, ir conditioning, ecker Europa AM/FM radio and even a "Locking" Hirschmann radio antenna (with instructions and two keys included)! Included with this car is the original European Mercedes-Benz dealership service documentation, wners manual, tamped maintenance booklet and three  Mercedes data build cards!

This nicely represented Mercedes from the "Lone Star State" is equipped with the 4.5L SOHC cast-iron block m117 V8, -speed automatic transmission, ower steering, ower brakes, wheel disc brakes, ecently serviced fully functional ride leveling system and more. The 14 inch original equipment steel wheels have the silver exterior matching full hub caps are wrapped in performance B.F. Goodrich tires.
