100% ORIGINAL 1979, Mercedes 450 SL. EXCELLENT Condition, approximately only 139,000 miles. I am only the third lucky owner of this 100% California classic car.
1979 was the final, and BEST best year of the Mercedes 450 SL. Built the year before Mercedes switched to the under powered 380 SL, with the less powerful smaller engine. So sturdy, its German designers referred to it as the "Panther (Tank) Wagon". This 1979 450 SL has, and WILL, increase in value more than other production years, due to its "final year" production status.
Please see the pictures. Original cream paint is beautiful, rare, and classy...the car has always been covered. The brown interior is not only hard to find, but perfect. No rips tears or blemishes anywhere. The dash is in perfect condition with no rips or tears there either. No stains, dirt, or rough spots anywhere. Every control, knob, and gauge works just right, which makes this car even more special. Just look at the pictures, they speak for themselves.
The car drives like a dream. Smooth, fast, and comfortable.
I get stares, comments, and thumbs up, wherever I drive, and the roadster has only been driven locally the last two years.
Car comes complete, with two tops, and rides like a dream. Mechanically perfect, and regularly serviced with the best independent Mercedes repair facility in West Los Angeles. I have all the paperwork, receipts and documentation, showing EXACTLY how this car was lovingly cared for.
I would NEVER sell this vehicle if I wasn't moving to where I need a 4 wheel drive automobile, and this car is too beautiful to ruin in the snow and sleet.
This car is my daily driver, and it is truly reliable. If you buy this car, you too, will have a faithful daily driver, if that is what you desire.
