The rare Tobacco brown MB-Tex interior has been well cared for and is detailed to a very high standard with an aim at preservation. There is absolutely no rust anywhere on this car. The dash has no cracks. and there have been no accidents. This car has been garaged and maintained its entire 2 owner life. No expense was spared in its care to keep it on the road. All buttons. knobs. switches. and lights are in working order. The A/C was recently converted to R134 and the heater works beautifully. The upholstery. dark brown carpeting and wood trim are all in excellent original condition. The Becker radio has been refurbished and works perfectly. This 300SD drives perfectly and with no rattles inside. The original OM617 turbodiesel engine is one of the best engines ever made. with plenty of torque. The transmission shifts smoothly. and the turbo-diesel powers this car easily to 80mph cruising. This would be a fantastic daily driver. luxury and economy. The engine bay displays all of its original tags and VIN numbers and has been thoroughly detailed. Original manuals. key. and a 1979 brochure is included!The sunroof and all windows and locks work nicely. The hood pad was replaced with an OEM equivalent. and the engine was recently serviced.
