This 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Roadster is in terrific condition. The SL class has been a top luxury line of production cars for decades producing ahead of the pack features, comforts, and performance. The R107 model SL came on to the scene in 1972. With the debut of a V8 engine in this lineup, the 450SL was larger and produced a much more modern ride. The fuel injected V8 features an overhead cam and delivered 230 horsepower paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The suspension is fully independent and 4-wheel disc brakes came standard. Enjoy the great ride with the with the convertible soft top, or an awesome open air roadster experience.
This 450SL offered here has been owned and meticulously cared for by two different family members for over 15 years. Before its current ownership in Arizona, the car spent its life in Michigan and Illinois (driven only in the summer while in the Midwest). The interior shows little wear and overall is in very good condition. The euro grey exterior shows well also. Car has a brand new soft top, muffler and exhaust pipe.
