Description for Mercedes-Benz 400-Series 1980
This vehicle is a 1980 Mercedes 450SL. You have to LOVE a convertible! Gorgeous Signal Red exterior. The hard top is included. This car is all original. but has been wonderfully maintained (I have many of the maintenance records from the original owner. The fuel system was replaced in 2012 from being in storage for almost 15 years. This is an automatic transmission with sports mode. It has power windows and doors. It even has the climate control air condition. Dash pad is flawless as well as the Zebrano wood inlays. Carpeting is stain free It even has the Becker Mexico cassette radio. The car comes with all of the manuals from the radio to the climate control a/c in the original dust jacket. This vehicle has been a southern car its whole life. 103. 04 miles that are well maintained. It was a two owner car until I bought it. The car starts. runs and drives exactly as it should. with service history showing it was maintained by Mercedes specialists its whole life. The paint is original and is in immaculate condition. There are ZERO dings dents or scratches on the car whatsoever. The interior is perfect as well as you can see from the pictures. This vehicle was owned by two women. the first (Margaret Mozingo. purchased for her in honor of her husband. SC state senator James Pierce Mozingo) bought it new and put on 98. 31 miles. The second woman (Rita. Georgetown SC) bought it in 1996 for $20. 29 and rarely drove it. putting only a few thousand miles on her (2. 00). The soft top is in good shape. (possibly new) operates well. and seals well. This car is QUICK and runs like a dream. The clock does not work. but I hope to have it fixed before it sells. If you have any questions. please email or call. I know how it is to buy cars on the internet. I will try my best to represent this vehicle to you correctly. If you have a ton of questions though. I can recommend a tri-state inspection service that I use.
