For whomever purchases the car for $4500. I will be willing to deliver the car anywhere in Mexico or anywhere in the Continental US (lower 48). If you want to fly into Mexico City and drive it home. it would be a great roadtrip; and I would just ask for a ride to the border so I can have the temporary import sticker officially removed and paperwork signed off so I can import my other car. or be allowed to stay here in Mexico. as my job is here now. Title is in New Mexico and will be mailed upon full payment. For best offer below $4500. I'm willing to deliver car. just would need to negotiate a price. The car is currently located in Colonia Roma Norte in Mexico City. I purchased this car on ebay to drive down to a new job in Mexico City. It has a clean New Mexico (in the USA) title. is currently insured in New Mexico (until July 21st. 2015). as well as Mexico (until February 26th. 2016; it was cheaper that way). Car is temporarily imported (Importacion Temporal) into Mexico (good until August 24th. 2015). I'm selling this car because 1) I need the money (job is commission based). 2) this is too big a car for me and too expensive to park in Mexico City. and 3) I know how to get around by walking and taking the Metro (subway). which is usually way faster than driving. and the subway is funner than riding the rides at Disneyland. The car has 163. 76 miles on the odometer. New Mexico wasn't able to verify mileage. so the title is mileage exempt. It will have a little more mileage as I do drive occasionally around the neighbourhood. The car is a grey market import from Germany. A picture of the import placard is included in the listing. I may be the 4th owner. however. I don't know that for sure. The car drove well from San Diego out to Albuquerque. around Albuquerque. and from Albuquerque down to Mexico City. The drive was pleasantly uneventful. Cruises great at 70-75mph with plenty of power to drive quicker if you wanted. It drives great regardless of road conditions. and doesn't overheat while driving through cities/towns and in traffic. or any other time. Car has new tires all around (205/70/14) as well as a new JVC CD deck with aux input/output and 2 new 4" 3-Way speakers in the dash. Everything on the car works as it should; the exceptions: A/C does not work. I'm told that the compressor needs to be rebuilt or replaced. The steering is loose. For a 35 year old car. it doesn't really affect anything - just know that the front end wonders a little. Once you figure it out. the car does go down the road straight. There are new tie rod ends that were on the car when I purchased it. Car idles well and has that great old school inline 6 sound. Car shifts as it should through all 4 gears and reverse. The cloth interior is comfortable and in pretty good condition - the drivers seat does have rips in it. Seat covers would fix that. or pick up some newish seats at a wrecking yard. I wouldn't hesitate driving this car anywhere. NADA guides list this car as follows: low retail $5325. average retail $8950. and high retail $12750. I would consider this car between low and average. as is described by NADA. This is really just a great old school German saloon without all the extras that break. I have this listed as $4500 obo. as I'm assuming the buyer will not be living down the street. Please don't hesitate about offending me on an offer. the worst I can say is no thank you.
