1938 MG TA Former Police car for Lancaster department.

This is a wonderful example of a MG TA. The wooden body is in great shape, he car runs and drives very nicely. Lots of fun!!!

According to the Book "MG's On Patrol" and the T-Register, his car is ex-police. It was delivered in Feb of 38 to the Lancaster police department.

The individual I purchased the car from had owned the car since the early 70's, nd had some restoration work done in the 70's including paint and interior. The brakes were redone in the past couple years. The former owner enjoyed driving the car in parades and around town. It is showing just over 10,000 miles. I have had the passenger half shaft replaced, purchased from Bob Grunau) and the dash wiring harness replaced (purchased from Rhode Island Wiring), y Muncie Imports in Muncie Indiana. They went completely through the car before I drove it. It is a sound fun driving car!

If you were at the GOF Central MG gathering in Carmel Indiana a couple weeks ago, he car was in the MG's Through Time class.

This car is a fun driving very functional and enjoyable car! it is a driver, ot a trailer queen.

I am aware that the tires and rims on the car are not original to the car, hey are oversized.

This would be a great car to enjoy as is! or a perfect candidate for a restoration if you wanted it to look as new.
