The MG had been owned by a long time older British Car enthusiast that had used the Midget on only the nicest days. It has always been garage stored. Fitted with the very rare OEM Rostyle wheels.
Mechanicallythe MG is in excellent condition. It is truly a turn-key example that is ready to be driven and enjoyed by the next owner. The MG has had a lot work done within the last 6 months. The list below highlights the work done.
1. New Coolant Hoses and coolant.2. Carb adjusted.3. Brakes gone through including new Brake Master.4. Brakes adjusted including Emergency Brake.5. Oil Change.6. Full Exhaust System.7. New Voltage Regulator.8. New Battery.9. New Starter Solenoid.10. New Brake hoses.

The MG drives great and will cruise easily at 75 mph! Starts easily with the pull of the choke. As stated, there is a new battery and voltage regulator, so no issues with the charging system. New exhaust fits nicely with no issues. Carbs have been expertly adjusted and idles nicely. Oil pressure is good and the MG runs at normal operating temperature. Brakes work fine including the emergency brake. Clutch and gearbox are in good condition with no known issues. Tires are in good condition and are a matched set.
TheInteriorwas completely redone as shown in the pictures. This includes seats being redone, new carpet, new door panels & shift boot. The dash was recovered as well. Being that the MG was from Arizona, the owner opted to have the interior redone in light grey instead of black due to the extreme heat. The seats were done in a cloth material which is common for cars from areas where it is extremely warm. The quality of the work is quite impressive. When the the work was done, the seat belts were apparently misplaced, and new seat belts were never installed. A new convertible top was fitted as well, which is in near new condition. The top fits nicely and all of the snaps and attachments fit the car. The convertible top frame was restored at the same time. All of the gauges are in working condition. Has an aftermarket radio with speakers in the rear as shown in the pictures. The radio works fine. Blinkers, lights, wipers are all in good operating condition. Heater fan does not seem to be working which of course wasn't an issue in Arizona.
The bodyis in nice condition and has been well preserved, but far from perfect. It presents very nicely and gets compliments all of the time. The paint finish looks good. There is the normal nicks and imperfections that one would expect from a 50 year old British car. There are also some spots that have been touched up. The body is mostly rust free with the exception of the leading edge of the hood which is a common problem area for Midgets and Sprites. There is also a "slit" that someone made that I suspect was for a stuck hood. It was filled in and is shown in the picture. There is a spot on the left front fender that shows some bubbling. Rocker panels are solid with no issues. The floors were redone at some point and as shown in the pictures, were reinforced . They are extremely solid with no holes or issues. Wheel arches are nice. Doors and Trunk close fine and fit looks good. The front and rear bumpers are in nice condition as well.

ONCE AGAIN....A NO RESERVE AUCTION!
