It's time to sell my classic 1991 Rover Mini Cooper. I bought this Mini a few years ago during a trip to Tokyo Japan. It was imported through the 25 year rule and comes with a clean title. Because it is a Japanese Mini, it came original with air conditioning, a feature only the Japanese market Mini's got from 1990-1999.

It runs great, starts from cold in seconds, and doesnt smoke. It has a manual transmission, which shifts smoothly and never grinds, and the clutch operates perfectly with no slipping. The air conditioning blows cold and keeps me comfortable even with outside temps in the 90's. As it is a Cooper model, it has the larger 1275cc engine equip with a superbly reliable and smooth SU carb. I just performed a compression test with results from 182 to 187 psi using an OTC compression tester. The factory rubber cone suspension springs were replaced with coil springs which wont deteriorate, they ride smooth and comfortably without any harshness.

Recent maintenance items replaced within the last 900 miles include the following:

• - RC40 two box exhaust system
• - Battery (2 years old)
