1964 OLDSMOBILE DYNAMIC 88No Reserve Auction
Original CA car which I purchased from the original owners family. Daughter had it in her name after Dad passed on. Very well maintained over the years. It is still registered in CA with original plates. Original 43,000 miles. This car is unmolested with perfect body panels, absolutely no rust. Original interior with wear on drivers seat & drivers door panel. Original carpet & Oldsmobile floor mats with "Oldsmobile" logo. Dash & headliner very good. Original working a.m. radio. The body trim is in very good condition. The bumpers are very good although the rear bumpers is starting to show its age. Original full wheel covers are included. The Dynamic 88 Holiday Coupe listed for $3,062 when new and there were 32,369 produced in 1964.
It has the original 394 cu. in. V-8 producing 260 h.p. which was originally designed to run on regular fuel rather than premium fuel. It is paired with the factory 3 Speed Roto Hydra-Matic Transmission with Accel-A-Rotor Action. It also has power steering & power brakes, two great options for a car this size at the time. Mechanically very good including heater, wipers, brakes and more. Transmission shifts smoothly.
The car needs nothing unless you want a restomod, but please don't do this, or a full stock restoration. The car is original and I would keep it the way it is. Even with its imperfections here and there in the paint, it is more valuable this way than to spend thousands more. Do your homework, the NADA Average Condition is over $16,000.
