1946 FIAT TOPOLINO / SIMCA 5 - Microcar Hot / StreetRod

I listed this vehicle a few months ago but decided not to sell it. I have changed my mind and looking for a good home for it. It presently has approx. 2300 miles on the build.

Turnkey, un to drive, rowd pleasing, ward winning car!

It is titled as a Simca. If they were made in Italy it was a Fiat Topolino and this one was made under license in France so it is a Simca 5. At car shows I usually just say Fiat Topolino or "Little Mouse" since most people aren't familiar with the Simca 5.

  • This rare car was built from a 300 mile survivor and comes with a detailed BUILD BOOK. Just turned 2,000 miles since the build.

  • The ALL STEEL body looks stock but has a hand-fabricated one-piece tilt hood with lovers with 2 positions: straight up for and up about 12"for show. Hand-fabricated firewall, ransmission tunnel and rear fender wells, olded in air deflector on roof, olded in rear fender Jaguar taillights, ing Bee headlights and much more. Beautiful Ford Orange paint.

  • The Chassis is a custom built 1 1/2" x 3" box tube frame with 1937 Ford narrowed I-beam front axle with coil-over Pro Shocks, ord 9" rear end with coil-over shocks, ront disk brakes, ront and rear parallel four-bar suspension, tainless steel brake and fuel lines, ustom aluminum radiator and gas tank, ustom Briz bumpers, ainless wiring, ilt steering wheel, rbital 6 Gel battery with shutoff located behind the passenger seat. Ooga horn.

  • The engine is a 1977 Buick Odd-Fire 231ci V6 rebuilt with Edelbrock mild cam, olley Aluminum intake manifold, ochester Quadrajet carb, olley finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, EI distributor, 50TH transmission with "LOKAR" shifter, ooler, ustom stainless dual exhaust. Weighs approx. 1400 pounds....11 feet long.

  • Custom dash with VDO gauges, ilt wheel, ull Lincoln leather interior, ontiac Fiero bucket seats, ioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with 6 speakers. Will accommodate 6'+ 200+ pound driver but need to left foot brake.

  • "WELD"aluminum 15"rims with MICHELIN tires.

  • 5 blade Radiator fan and aluminum radiator keep it cool at 160-180 degrees. Radiator has some crushed fins on engine side that were present when I got the car but does not leak or affect the cooling. (SEE PIC)

  • Oil pressure 35-50 lbs.

  • "WELD"aluminum 15"rims with MICHELIN tires.

  • Comes with CLEAR TITLE and the original VIN Plate. New owner can put it on car in location desired. License plate and frame are not included with the car.

I have owned this awesome car for 3 1/2 years and it has been joy in my life. Great to drive at low speed, reeway speed or curvy roads. The roll back top make it even more fun in the Summer! Two years ago it won the CHOICE AWARD from over 500 cars from the Club that put on the show.

I have included short videos of the car. May be necessary to copy & paste address into browser.
