Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer you this 1961 Morris Minor Convertible in its original color of Black with Red interior. 54,159 miles. California car from new. Originally sold by British Motor Cars in San Francisco still retaining both its original California Black license plates. Absolutely superb rust and accident free body. The engine bay is original paint and incredible - that's where you would see any evidence of front end impact and there is none, hich is unusual. Great solid floors and trunk. Paint is old - acceptable but definitely has patina. Same goes for the interior.Top is decent. Mechanically superb, ovely quite engine, oesn't smoke or overheat. Gearbox is very nice - none of the typical noisy first gear, nd syncro is a little  clicky but not by any means. Steering, lutch and brakes are all fine. Last owner since 1982 lived in Redding, till on the old pink slip issued 33 years ago. Morris Minors were my thing back in the old country 35 years ago. I've had lots of them and know them well. This is an exceptional example, nd I'm confident that the mileage of 54k is correct. The horn isn't working and the flasher is missing its bulb on the stalk, ut flashers work. In all I think you'd be hard pressed to spend $500. If we get time I will probably attend to it. Inspections encouraged. All sales AS-IS. Sales tax and license fees due if delivered in California.
