Have all pertinent documentation to prove this is a REAL Y84 code Special Edition. It has been restored to showroom condition. No expense spared. The car is immaculate and everything works. This is an actual SE that has its Van Nuys build sheet AND PHS documentation to back up the claim that this car was built originally Black with SE stripes, lack Custom interior, urbo Wheels, -Tops, S6 suspension with rear disc brakes, nd much more. The ONLY departure from originality are the four new wider BFG 255/60 radial tires.
The engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt. The turbo was rebuilt. The rear end was rebuilt. Have all receipts. The engine is date code correct, ut not numbers matching so it may have been replaced under warranty. The transmission shifts smoothly. The car is stunning. It is one of 3444 SE Turbos built with T-Tops, nd fewer still were black on black. The car is an investment and the ultimate eye catcher even when parked. It is an excellent cruiser. It will maintain speeds of 80 mph up steep grades, ake curvy roads with ease and satisfy you with the looks you'll get, he comfortable ride, nd easy to live with seats. It will continue to increase in value as it is rare, estored, n demand and documented.
The cruise control still works! The A/C is ice cold and converted to R134. The rear window defogger works should you forget to park the car in your climate controlled garage! The Turbo wheels are new OEM repros and the tires are brand new. The front suspension has all new parts with new shocks at all corners. All fuel and emissions lines have been replaced.

The braking system has been rebuilt, tarting with a new master cylinder and power brake booster. Every caliper was rebuilt or replaced. The car stops as good as when it was new. It is a joy to drive even if it's just to get an ice cream or groceries. It's been shown at several car shows since completion and has won a prize at every one.
The interior has correct new carpet. The door panels, ackage tray and headliner are new. The sun visors, nd all interior plastic has been refreshed and repainted. The dash has been recovered - no cracks! Every seat has been treated to new correct to original, 980 only, lack hobnail seat covers. The front seat tracks have been refurbished to work like new. The console has been refurbished. It is the correct console with no front map pocket.
The turbo lights on the hood work and illuminate according to the turbo boost being provided. You can also feel the boost in the seat of your pants! This little 301 Pontiac Turbo puts out more horsepower and torque (210 and 345) than the mighty L78 400 Pontiac of the late 70's did. This car's engine was rebuilt with an Iskendarian Turbo cam, or greater lift and duration. The turbo light brightness switch has been relocated to the dash next to the rear defog switch. The gold dash and shifter bezels are Randy Combs restorations. All gauges work including the quartz clock.
