Description for Pontiac Firebird 1986

NO RESERVE!! Runs and drives awesome and has that 'throaty' engine roar. Its a real head turner. Original motor and trans were exchanged out- now has a 350 sm block from a corvette. Also has 700r4 transmission. Both have under 50K. They were trying to make some hybrid GTA car. Headers, " custom exhaust, lowmaster. Digital dash from GTA model-gauges work fine. Service engine soon light appeared last year-didnt effect driving at all. The passenger seat is 'stuck' in its position. The headlights turn on but the passenger side headlamp will not rise most of the time...shows error message inside car. Its been only driven in the day so it was never fixed. Interior is in really good shape for its year-theres a spot on drivers side seat that i took a pic of to show you. No visible rust. We drive the car and then it goes back in heated garage. This car has never seen winter or salt. Radio doesn't work. It went to a couple car shows and got compliments. I love this car but daughter needs college tuition. I don't know about the air cond because i drive with windows down. The car is all covered up in garage-will gladly get it out when someone wants to come see/drive it. You won't be sorry. Trunk in excellent cond. I use a board to prop the hatch open if I am going to use it because the tension bars are weak and don't want to chance it. I think that stuff is minimal but im trying to list everything i know. I know im probably leaving some stuff out- happens when you get old. Haha. ANy questions just ask...come by and check it out-its worth it. Please don't knit pick a vehicle this old for perfection. I do not consider this a perfect show car. The paint job is not perfect, here are little dings and scratches here and there- the seat belt plastic is cracked. I think this is an awesome car and hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it as much as I do. There has been a lot of time and work went into this car already...basically its a one of a kind so far. ha ha. I
I just saw the VIN report. I was not aware of a minor issue/accident on this vehicle when we bought it a couple years ago. Of course they fixed that and just decided to keep going & would explain why the car has been gone all the way thru and put back even better. LOL. Anyway, have described everything that i can think of to be honest. Just come see it and drive it and Im sure you will love it too. I was in high school in the 80's so it takes me back..
