This is an extremely original Y84 Special Edition Black and Gold, ommonly referred to as the Smokey and the Bandit car. All original components that came on the car are intact except the original radio. This is the 4.9L 301 V-8 Turbo engine with non working R-12 A/C and Auto trans, nbsp; The car runs and drives well. This was purchased from the original owner of 33 years and has just 64,000 original miles.On the exterior, hat has been 1 repaint around 1990. The paint is in glossy #7-8 Condition, nd there are a few scratches and blisters. I would give the gold striping, ecals and bird a #9 condition.This car has the rare original Gold Turbine wheels, hich I believe were 1 or 2 year options only. There is no rust and tires are good. Additionally, his car has the low production glass T top option. The panels are in excellent condition with no scratches.On the interior, would honestly call it a #7-8 condition, ue to a small burn hole in the left rear seat, ome stains which I feel could be professionally cleaned and bring the interior to a #9, ut it's still very nice. This is the Hob Nob tan colored cloth pattern all original. The highlight of the interior, s the SIGNED Glove Box by BURT REYNOLDS. All of the original gauges and trim are intact and in extremely good condition. Includes: tach and working clock, nbsp; It has power windows, ower locks and power trunk of which all work properly. All of the original "turned" aluminum trim is intact. Carpets are good.The trunk is clean and has the factory compact spare tire and the trunk light still works.The Good:Only 3300 of these cars were made with the S.E. package and Turbo T-topThe car is in GOOD original unmolested condition.It is the right color straight rust free body and well optioned.The Not so Good:Non working A/C, ut is completely intact. Could possibly work with an R134 conversion.Some scratches and 3 small blisters in the paintStains on the upholstery and a small burn holeThe Bad:There is no bad, t's all good.Pontiac Historical Society (PHS) documentation has been ordered and will convey with the car.This is a 2- to 3+ original car..Thanks for looking.
