Presented for sale is this 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible recently refinished in its original hue of Burgundy Iridescent (paint in 2017) and parchment interior (the trim tag even tells you the car was born this way). 1966 introduce Coke-bottle styling to the Grandfather of muscle cars as well as one year only louvered taillights. Nicely optioned with power steering, Rally gauges with full instrumentation and tac (with RPM warning alert), front and rear sway bars, front bucket seats with console, 4 speed Muncie transmission, Rally 1 wheels and power convertible top. Motivation comes from a 1967 Pontiac 400 WT 335 HP with “180” cylinder heads. Power is sent through a 4 on the floor Muncie transmission with Hurst shift linkage and a true dual exhaust. Chrome and trim are excellent with new grilles, front turn signals, woodgrain dash, BF Goodrich Radial T/A’s and carpet. Trunk is solid with new two-piece trunk mat and spare tire. The factory-correct color was given a respray in 2017, and when you pay for quality, it lasts and the nice shine highlights the Coke-bottle styling.
