Description for Porsche 911 1983

I bought it in February 2012 and have put major love into the engine, xhaust and other upgrades. The car has about 59,000 miles on it. Since the engine rebuild I have only put about 1,000 on it which is why I am considering selling it - not a lot of opportunity to drive it.
It would be a great car for anyone who wants to go to the track but not have a full blown race car but also be able to drive around on some back roads and have A LOT of fun with it.
Here are the key upgrades done in last 1,500 miles:
- Engine bored out from a 3.0 to a 3.2
- SSI stainless steel heat exchanges
- PMO carbs
- J&E 10.5 to 1 pistons
- GE-40 WEB cams
- New oil lines and upgraded oil cooler
- Carrera chain tensioners
- All new stainless exhaust and muffler
- New Tires
- New shocks
- H4 headlights
- New back dash, enter console, eat belts (rest of interior is very clean, oo)
- Upgraded sound system but retro head unit
- Transmission and clutch were done just before I bought it and are great.
- Just passed inspection
All work was done by Bill Rudtner of Rutner's Racing South Shore Performance on Long Island, Y. Bill also runs the Porsche Club of America racing program for Metro NY. Google him, e is top notch. I have all the records for everything I had done, ncluding lots of the cosmetic replacement stuff I bought OEM from Pelican Parts (new badges, heel center caps, tc, tc).
I am all into this thing for over $50K and about $30K just on the engine and upgrades. She is a beauty.
Other stuff to know:
- No oil leaks or anything like that.
- All the electrical and gauges are perfect.
- I also have the whale tail which will come with the car.
- AC compressor has been removed to make room for new engine but they tell me it could fit back in if someone wanted it (with the Targa top I didn't need it).
- The rebuilt engine is not fully broken in yet due to lack of driving so it smokes a little at start up but once the seals set that will go away.
- Paint, t has been painted before I owned it and looks great when you see it but there are some areas that need to be addressed. The worst spot is the back bumper where there is a small area of bubble from the catalytic converter (common in these cars). With the upgrade from fuel injected to carbs, he cat converter is no longer an issue.
