ARIZONA CAR early 85 (makes a difference) 123k on body low miles on motor(actually a 97 firebird trans am)rear valance from turbo-new high definition Dual CD/tuner with aux/usb (HXD6430) with Sound Ordinance self contained amp sub woofer- new Ron Davis $1400 radiator -17 inch cup pro (replica?) wheels with very good hipro tires(225/45pirelli p7000 on front 255/40 yokahama s drive rear) covered dash since cracked from Arizona sun -prev. owner died b4 I could get details of Renegade swap --new water and power steering pumps- newer clutch slave cylinder but may need throwout bearing(this is only issue that needs looking into soon . he clutch pedal can stick in colder weather since the slave is newer and there is a clicking noise when pedal depressed my guess is t/o bearing)new iridium plugs and 8. 8 accel wires- ceramic headers -new battery-tons of power and boatloads of torque it is around 3k rpm at 75 punched it to 110 mph for a quick burst with a lot left (don't need ticket) you could have 15 in cookie cutter wheels with tires- definitely a fair weather car current setup unsuitable for snow- oil pressure gauge pegged (there is a part from renegade (engine swap people) that should convert pressure to 8cyl-aftermarket tach in place of factory unit (depsite It being converted to 8 cyl it wasn't working -power windows- big sunroof that is removable (by definition I guess) newer wildwood $750 calipers on front -battery drain(despite a clean bill of test for alternator-battery. nbsp;but have quick disconnect to slow drain will include tender if desired-got windshied squirters to work along with power windows but cleaned up back window with rear wiper delete( it was quite ugly in my opinion) and on side note there are further brake upgrades. if you know of this swap. the dual master cylinder or hydroboost that I have not done-this is 3rd car can't keep up with this many make an offer or call for more or any other info chris 303-666-8364 it is on craigslist locally so may remove if sold I UPGRADED TO AN 87 HANDBRAKE A/C WORKS ALTHOUGH BLOWER NOT REAL STRONG Q: Very interested! The slave cylinder issue like I think I said is probably a throw out bearing. It is a newer slave (couple hundred miles)because that was my original diagnosis and it was working good save for a clicking or a slight thunking sound (you could kinda see the fork catching). So the pedal is starting to stick. I think this is combination of lack of use and cold (all related) but am able to persuade it up with my foot. My bet is given a road trip the exercise would alleviate this because just pumping pedals smooths it out . This would be my only worry on cross country trip or a big snow storm. I wired a switch to radiator instead of temperature sensor so it is on or off. really only need in slow traffic. long lights. If you look up swap they delete brake power booster for clearance so it has manual brakes they are good not great. The 3 options are adding dual master clylinder and for even better effort relocate pivot point of pedal or adding a hydroboost from something like BMW. It has hella headlights and fogs. It is crazy fun my other 2 cars are 300hp turbo cars so seat of pants and simple calculations put this at over 300hp with tons of torque. Besides the ceramic headers I put a performance MAF housing and the airfoil in throttle body. There is a storage bag for sunroof that secures in hatch area. There is battery drain that is slowed significantly with my quick disconnect (the battery and alternator passed all tests at auto parts store). And of course given its age the sale would be AS_IS.
