1983 Porsche 911 SC Convertible

For sale is a 1983 Porsche 911 S/C convertible. I'm listing this car for a friend so i will do the best I can to describe it. It has just been professionally painted. The car was in good shape already but the original paint was showing it's age. so it was taken apart and striped down and a fresh black paint job was applied. The rims are original and in very good shape and 4 brand new pirelli tires have been installed. The inside of the car is in very good shape. no rips or tears in the seats. new 911 S/C embroidered floor mats have been put in and a brand new bluetooth Alpine cd/hd radio has been installed. Also brand new is a convertible top boot cover. that snaps on when the top is down. The car runs and drives nice. however it can use some attention mechanically. The engine was re-built about 15. 00 miles ago. but it has an oil leak that we're not sure where it's coming from. Also the car idles pretty high and won't idle down. about 1800 rpm. The transmission linkage needs to be rebuilt as it has some play in it. Also the driver side seat belt either needs to be rebuilt or replaced as it won't retract. I tried to be as honest as I can about the car. Please contact me with any questions. the reserve is low as I know it needs a little work to make perfect. But it is going on 32 years old and in pretty good shape for it's age.
