Another super clean import. JZX81 Twin Turbo Cresta. 61k miles! (98,500km…and going up, can’t stop driving it.) Pictures show lower mileage of when it first arrived. Totally stock aside from wheels. Runs great and everything works. Paint shines like new.

This JZX81 Cresta is a super clean survivor. The two tone paint shines like new. There are several small rock chips on the hood, ome touched up (probably lots of Wangan kilometers). A small outward ding on the hood, nd a small ding on the roof. (pictured below). Overall exceptional condition for a 25 year old car.

It drives excellent. The twin turbo 1JZruns smooth and pulls hard. The engine bay is clean, nd the motor is free of leaks. The automatic transmission is direct and precise. I was actually very surprised with the ‘feel’ of the auto. It definitely couldn’t be described as a slushbox. In ‘PWR’ mode the shift points are extended, nd the car is very responsive. If manual is a must however, e can swap the car for you. There are several options, ncluding some very interesting BMW 6 speed options with the use of an adaptor.

The car handles very well. We replaced the front ball joints with quality MOOG replacements, nd the front radius/strut rod bushings with factory Toyota parts. After driving the car over 500 miles, hose were the only two mechanical items we found that needed to be addressed. The car is riding on factory springs/struts, ut we can also install coilovers for an additional cost.

The interior is clean, nd shows like new. There is wear on the steering wheel, ut that will be repaired before delivery. The only other issue with the interior is a broken lower console door hinge. It still closes in place, ut comes loose at the hinge when opened. Rear door windows are tinted, ront doors are not. The rear window isn’t actually tinted, ut it has a plastic ‘smoke curtain’ that sits in place in front of the window. You can only tell it’s not tint if you look closely.
