Description for Toyota Land Cruiser 1993
1993 FZJ80 Toyota Land Cruiser, Extensively Restored & Modified, Runs Perfect, $18,499
Location: El Paso, Texas, USA
Description: Level-2 equivalent restoration. Over $100k into this rig. Heavily Modified for remote travel with many exquisite custom mods and fabrication. Everything you would expect in a true expedition vehicle and some things you wouldn't! Only the best available materials and equipment installed. Runs perfect! $11k new mods/maint/repairs just completed this June 2016 at Camelback Toyota in Phoenix, AZ. Every factory option available is included in this truck, plus the modifications and accessories outlined on a 3-page document but far too extensive to list here. Nearly everything is replaced or rebuilt except the engine and transmission and they work perfectly despite the high mileage of 260k. I’m practically giving it away at this price. If you buy one for less you’ll spend far, far more than just to get it running nicely and adding a few basic modifications. I have many more pictures and 65 pages of virtually all the maintenance, repair and modification receipts available for your review so contact me through eBay messaging if you are interested in purchasing the truck and I'll send you a link to download everything.
Known problems/issues: Nothing mechanical the but paint has been damaged by sun and there are light scratches from off road use. The rooftop tent cover needs to be replaced due to sun damage. The driver's seat has some tears in the leather on the outside edge but I installed new Camo/MOLLE “Cover King” seat covers. It burns about 1qt oil every 1500 or so miles and no change in the rate of burn for many years. The HAM radio, Yaesu FT-857D, is not included.
