Description for Triumph TR-6 1973
I bought this TR6 2 years ago and have since replaced the windshield, dashboard, wiring harness, and braking components as well as installing dual Weber carburetors, a rear tube-shock conversion, a stainless-steel exhaust system, an aftermarket radiator, and an electric cooling fan. A replacement red soft top is installed and the car has a clean NYS title
The car was originally yellow and was refinished in its current shade of white with red stripes under previous ownership. Exterior features include a replacement red soft top, chrome bumpers, driving lamps, bullet-style mirrors, a chrome luggage rack, and Union Jack quarter-panel decals. Flaws include dents on the hood, a crease and bubbling on the driver’s door, scrapes on the front bumper, and corrosion in the rear quarter panels.I have replaced the front brake pads and rotors as well as the rear drums and brake lines. A rear tube-shock conversion replaced the factory lever shocks. I installed replacement carpets, a replacement wood-veneer dashboard, a wood shift knob, and rubber floor mats
The 2.5-liter inline-six has been fitted with dual Weber carburetors and a stainless-steel exhaust system with dual outlets. I also replaced the wiring harness and battery as well as installation of an aftermarket radiator and cooling fan.
