Hello and welcome to my auction you are bidding on a totally restored 1981 VW Rabbit pickup truck, bought this a couple of years ago as a package deal of two trucks off which I sold one a year or so ago here on ebay, he truck was parked in a barn in Nevada for over ten years or so and the extreme desert heat had taken its toll the body was in very good condition after I towed it home I towed it home and tore it apart to bare shell the motor was torn apart and sent to a machine shop and bored out to 1st oversize and brand new KOLBEN SCHMIDT piston and rings were installed along with rebushed rod bearings, ebuilt German Head with new valves and guides, ll new FEBI seals,New Febi oil pum, New water pump, ew German Rod Bearings and Main Bearings, ewGerman Timing belt and tensioner, ew Sacs pressure plate and clutch, ew Intermediate bushings were pressed in, ebuilt rack and pinion, ew strut, ew Brakes including new Rotors/brake pads and rear brake shoes along with new brake lines, ewRadiator, ew Radiator fan......Too much to list, he interior was torn apart and new carpet redone seats and Dynamat under the carpet the roof and behind the seats was put in so its very quite in the cab, ll new shifter bushings and shifter rods were installed so the shifting thru all five gears is a breeze, he AC compressor has been tested and clicks on fin, ew AC line seals and new Drier was also installed, ll new coolant hoses, ew coolant reservoir If I have missed any thing I will add later on..... Hello Again just wanted to add a few more things......The mileage should read 87000 and not 87...and that is the actual mileage on the truck, nd also wanted to add the truck has all 4 brand new tires and the spare is pretty decent too, he battery cables are new, he front wheel bearings along with the rear wheel bearings are new, ll new motor and transmission mounts, ew upper and lower tie rod ends, ebuilt starter, he injector pump has also been resealed with new viton seals, ew wiper blades, ew front and rear windshield rubber gasket......the truck also had the front wheels aligned after the truck was put back together, lso the truck was repainted in the original color LE1B (SONNENGELB) by me, ver all the body is pretty straight other than a few minor dings, he truck bed is almost flawless other than very minor dings very surprising, had the bed liner materiel sprayed on it, he brake master cylinder was rebuilt along with the brake vacuum pump so now the truck stops on a dime if I have forgotten anything I might add on later when I remember but the bottom line is this truck needs nothing at all its the next best thing to a brand new truck....

Just wanted to add a few more things done to the truck........Before installing the Engine and tranny I replaced the seals on the transmission New Input shaft seals both of them, ew Flange seals, epacked and New Inner/Outer boots were installed on the Drive shafts, ebuilt Front Brake Calipers, ew Bearing was installed on the Steering Colume.......The Truck also has very Desirable European HELLA H4 headlights.........
